Celtic Summerfest on Sunday, August 14 at 3 pm at Coralville Center for the Performing Arts is 120 minutes of music and dance from eastern Iowa’s most acclaimed Irish musicians and dancers.

2022 marks 15 years that Champagne Academy of Irish Dance has graced the Corridor with meaningful opportunities to uplift and uphold the Irish Arts. Also featuring Irish trad band Coppers & Brass (Frank Claudy, Joseph Dutcher, Tara McGovern and Keith Reins) along with Dan Vaughn (Irish flute and whistles), harp duo Wandering Wild (Katie McClellen and Fox Rose) and historical context from Professor David McMahon.

Landing just days after Lughnasa, the traditional Celtic harvest festival equidistant between the summer solstice and autumn equinox, we gather to celebrate the strength of a community who sowed our musical seeds in the solitude of isolation to once again reap the joy and satisfaction of our community music and dance traditions.
