Yesterday’s release of Stephanie Catlett‘s gorgeous new album “Bright Day” also marks the 20th recording project that I have played or sang on in the last 20 years.
Some of these are full length albums by bands I played with for years. Some are fiddle or vocal embroidery that I was invited to add to other artists’ work. I am proud to be a part of every single one.
I have often heard writers say that they hate writing but they love having written. This is how I feel about recording.
I love performing but I find the recording process to be very difficult. As is often the case with difficult tasks, the reward is tremendous.
Thank you to everyone involved in all of these projects for trusting me to play my part.
