56 years ago tomorrow was the first meeting of the Gay Liberation Front in Iowa City, a pivotal legacy marker not only for our local community but also because the GLF was the first gay student organization recognized by any state university.

We gather for tonight’s short (24 minutes) documentary screening and community discussion moderated by Andrés Restrepo-Sánchez at Sacred Collective both to honor our past and also to deepen our solidarity for the work that continues.
